Huntersville, NC. June 28th, 2012- VidaRF awarded a 3,000 piece order for custom cable assemblies from a supplier of man pack radios to the Militaries around the world. Competition was fierce as all participating manufactures were evaluated on the basis of component performance, repeatability, deliverability, and price. VidaRF was awarded the PO based on a robust design, competitive price, and best in class delivery.

BBC and VidaRF

The BBC chooses VidaRF!
April 20th 2012 –VidaRF has been chosen by the Research and Development arm of the BBC to provide RF Circulators in support of ongoing projects. The BBC chose VidaRF as a supplier based on the companies’ ability to offer a custom built Circulator that could maintain demanding mechanical and electrical specifications. We look forward to supporting the BBC’s broadcast of World News, Sports, and Television.

New Drop-In Circulator

VidaRF offers Model: VDC-04200450-3 Drop-In Circulator Freq: 420-450 MHz, 400 Watts, Loss 0.25dB, VSWR 1.20, and Isol 21dB ,Temp -40 to +85C. Circuit tab can be straight or bent flush with base for surface mounting. Dim: 1.375x1.375x.560” The new rugged design uses a machined steel housing, screwed on cover and is fully tested to handle shock, vibration, thermal shock, and moisture. To help ensure long term performance in a variety of applications, these packages are Beryllium oxide (BeO) free and Neodymium (Nd) free.

2-18GHz Power Divider

VidaRF offers an SMA Female 2-Way Power Divider. Frequency Range: 2-18GHz, and featuring a maximum VSWR of 1.50, Loss of 1.2dB, and Isolation of 18dB. Temp -55 to +85C. Sealed and Painted to meet environmental standards.

Non-Magnetic Connectors

VidaRF now offers a full line of Non-Magnetic RF Connectors. SMA,SMB,SSMB,SMC,MCX,and MMCX coaxial connectors for medical and other applications that call for low magnetic susceptibility. These connectors provide an extremely low distortion of the magnetic field by using low permittivity materials to achieve a magnetic susceptibility of (10-5), meaning that they are about three orders of magnitude less than Brass/Nickel Connectors (10-2).
